Trinity Group has gone above & beyond to bring a very modern, sexy development into a prime Ottawa site, and I for one, am happy to see it.   Right of the hop, the buildings look like they’re from this century, which is a huge change from most of what’s out there (sorry Ottawa builders, but we’re tired of seeing your buildings that already look 50 years old with their tired, outdated appearance.  Try using more glass next time ;)).   These towers look sleek & modern, with all glass on all sides.   This tells me that right away, the units inside should be fairly bright, open and offer stunning views of the city.    With a budget of $400M, we can expect this one to be impressive!

And let’s look at this location.   Sitting right next to the intersection of Ottawa’s 2 LRT rail lines.  The Confederation Line which runs east to west, and the Trillium line which runs north to south.   The area is Bayview, and it sits on the western edge of Lebreton Flats, which should be developed someday this century (we hope).   Add to this, the fact that the Ottawa River & Chaudiere Falls are a short walk away, the Sens Stadium will be right nearby (god willing), and all of Hintonburg & Little Italy restaurants & shops are within walking distance.  Oh, I did I mention that Zibi, one of Ottawa’s most exciting new communities, is right around the corner.  In case you haven’t put it together, this site promises to be one of the most central, convenient, lively, and desirable locations in all of Ottawa.   If Trinity is selling condos, it is worth looking into these if you want to be in heart of everything.
